    Track Rules:

The AMRA is governed by the AMRA Rule Book which contains the general rules for AMRA events. We rent the track and other facilities from our friends at the Calgary Kart Racing Club and are bound by the CKRC Code of Conduct by the terms of our rental agreement.

When you come to the track, please obey the following:

    • Follow the posted speed limit on the access road to Strathmore Motorsports Park.

    • Walk your bike in the paddock area. No exceptions!

    • Do not enter the infield unless you are a volunteer or have clearance from the event organizers (e.g., for photographers).

    • Treat the event organizers with respect and patience. They’re all volunteering their time to give you the best track experience possible.

    • Consuming alcohol or drugs during AMRA track events is prohibited.

  • Volunteers:

Each track day we need volunteers for the following:

    • Sign-in

    • Corner Marshalling

    • Pit Lane Control

Each race weekend we need volunteers for the following:

    • Sign-in

    • Race Control

    • Corner Marshalling

    • Pre-Grid

    • Tech and Inspections

No experience is required for any of these positions. Instructions will be provided on track day / race day, as required. For race days, we ask our volunteers to commit to the full event from 9am to 5pm. We’ll provide lunch.

Please contact info@amra.ca if you are interested in volunteering for an event.

    Spectators:

Spectators are encouraged to come and watch track and race days. At Strathmore Motorsports Park, all the action on the track can be seen from the bleachers. We only ask that for your safety, you stay off the track and infield during events.

FAQ

I’ve never ridden a bike before. Can I still participate in an AMRA track day?

Yes, we welcome all levels of rider and are happy to provide guidance and support to get you started and build your confidence and skills.

I’ve registered for an AMRA event, but can’t make it. Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, we don't offer refunds for events. But, you can sell you pass to another AMRA member. You’ll need to inform us of the change at info@amra.ca prior to the event.

How can I ensure you have a rental bike and gear available for me?

Rental bikes are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The sooner you register for a track event and request a bike rental, the better chance you’ll have of securing a bike for that event. Riding gear can’t be booked in advance, but we typically have enough for all who need it.

Do I have to pay to come watch an AMRA event?

No, not at all. Spectators are welcome at all of our events.
